Keota has a population of around 1,000 (not including the cats, dogs, pigs, or cows).  We are located in Southeast Iowa.

Our community consists of many service and manufacturing related organizations (Business Link).

We have an excellent school system consisting of Preschool through 12th grade. Our academics, music, and sports tradition continues to promote a sense of pride in our community.

Keota is home to a local medical clinic and is in the service area of Keokuk County Health Center.
